brief explaination on how to handle PVC Pipes and Fittings
- Pipe should be kept on an even surface under shade condition while storing. They should be properly supported and not be stacked vertically
- Underground pipes should be laid about 60 to 75cms below the ground label. Trench should be as narrow as possible and it's bottom should be free of stones, sharp objects, etc
- Pipes or fittings should not be cleaned with solvent cement
- A water lab should not be directyl fixed on a PVC pipe. A service saddle should be used and properly anchorage should be provided
- Threaded PVC pipes should not be overtightend by G.I fittings as the threads may get damaged. Use PVC fittings for PVC pipes
